When referring to migrants, the collective representation sees them as recipients of services offered by the third sector and not, in the first instance, as actors actively engaged in associative processes. Addressing the issue of the relationship between migrants and the third sector implies, therefore, proposing a change of perspective that leads to think of migrants (also this rather wide category) not as direct beneficiaries, as victims in need, but as protagonists actively engaged in the institutions or as collaborators, experts, employees, therefore paid, or as volunteers, free of charge.

This chapter discusses the relationship between insurance supervisory law and consumer protection within the ambit of Solvency II and the EIOPA system. To this, the article focuses on existing laws, with particular regard given to European rules on insurance supervision. The Solvency II Directive takes as its exclusive objective the protection of insureds and insurance beneficiaries. Solvency II does not address consumer protection. Nevertheless, consumer protection is a significant by-product of the Solvency II rules, in the sense of collective consumer protection. Ayudas y beneficiarios en la multa al Valencia

En el articulo se razona el por qué es injusto que sea el Valencia CF el que deba de asumir en exclusiva el pago de la restitución que le exige la Comisión Europea por una ayuda ilegal dispensada por el Instituto Valenciano de Financias a una entidad para que ésta pudiera comprar un paquete accionarial en una ampliación de capital del propio Valencia. La ayuda se dispensó a la entidad que compró las acciones y sin embargo, ahora la comisión europea dice que el beneficiado es el Valencia CF porque gracias a ello se capitalizó. Los autores discuten esta decisión.

In questo saggio si analizzano i problemi interpretativi che la generica designazione degli “eredi”, quali beneficiari di un contratto di assicurazione sulla vita, pone. In particolare, viene verificato a chi spetti l’indennizzo al momento della morte dell’assicurato, come esso vada ripartito tra i beneficiari e come possa essere risolto il caso della premorienza di uno dei beneficiari individuati negli “eredi”.
